About data.bio
data.bio gives you one short address for everything you share. Pick a name, add a few words about yourself and your links, and share data.bio/yourname.
What it is
A simple page builder. Your page has your name, a short bio, an emoji or your initials as a picture, up to twenty links and one of ten colour themes. There is nothing to learn and nothing to install.
Who makes it
I make and run data.bio on my own. I am blind and use a screen reader every day, which is why the builder and every page work with a keyboard and a screen reader: fields have clear names, changes are announced, and nothing moves or plays by itself.
What I believe
- It is free. Making a page costs nothing, and there are no payment details to enter.
- It is private. There are no cookies, no ads and no analytics, and nothing is loaded from other websites. Your email address is used only to sign you in and is never shown on your page.
- It is yours. You can delete your page or your whole account yourself at any time.
How it works
Sign in with your email address and a password. The first time, I send you a code by email and you choose a password. Publish, and your page is live straight away. Come back any time to change it.
Pages I show
A page is not listed anywhere unless its owner chooses. Listed pages appear at data.bio/pages, and the featured pages on the home page are checked before they appear.
Keeping it safe
Every public page has a “Report this page” link. I read each report, and the rules are in the terms of use.
